?? Huh?? Pancho Villa is minutes (approx. 35 miles south of Rockhound. City of Rocks where the OP is staying is in the same area but north. All will be around the same temps in summer.
Ha, misunderstood. My middle name. :) Yes, all in the same relative area. More pleasant in general to avoid all of them in the heat of the summer, thus I suggest going this time of year.
I don't need a shutdown to make me vote against the incumbents, all are doing a poor job if you ask me. :(
