sdianel--Why would you get a new gps every year? That RM can be updated I believe. You can get it online way cheaper than Walmart. You don't need that for finding Walmarts. There is a Walmart atlas that gives location and telephone number of every Walmart in the country. Tells you what services it has. $25. I disagree on fastest versus shortest. I just tell my RM to avoid expressways. I look at a map and find the road I want to drive and program a few towns along that road and I'm driving down a US highway generally. Better mileage and less slowing down traffic behind me. Of course I'm on no timetable and getting somewhere fast as possible is not necessary.
