I use paper maps, sometimes two different-brand GPS units, Google and smart-phone apps along with a navigator riding shotgun. I still make wrong turns and get turned around, upside down and backwards. You just gotta keep your sense of humor. You never know when a wrong turn will present an opportunity. They rarely do, but it could happen.
