We've stayed in 20+ parks so far this year, and I can truthfully say we haven't had a single bad experience so far. The last state park we stayed at over the 4th of July holiday, the site on one side had two grandparents with 5 grandchildren ranging from about 4 up to a teenager. All in all they were pretty quiet, even in the evening sitting around the campfire making s'mores. I did have to chuckle one time though, when the youngest let out a scream at one of the others over a toy, and I heard grandma shush him, telling him to "use your indoor scream". :)
