Had to give up rving

What a bummer! Due to a medical emergency I suffered over 2 years ago I had to give up my beloved fiver and TV. I had no plans on leaving RVing until well into old age, but at least I enjoyed full timing for quite a few years. I found it to be the perfect lifestyle. The overall cost was reasonable and enjoyment was immense. I was forced to "waste"2 years in various assisted living facilities at enormous cost. One plus factor, though, I'm able to get around using a Toyota minivan. I would hate to be stuck without wheels! I'll always miss the RV lifestyle. Perhaps, some day I can get back into it. But the way it looks right now, that's a slim possibility. I'll continue watching this forum and pretend I'm joining you fine folks on your RV adventures.:C

  • Relish the memories of your experiences rather than dwell on what you have lost. And who knows. One day you may find a way to get back in to it at some level. Good luck.
  • I am sorry you are giving up something you enjoyed so much, but I encourage you to find other activities to enjoy in a more stationary livestyle.
