Half ton to three quarter....... Worth it?

Even gas to gas, the ram is 7 quarts of oil, and 16 spark plugs. I have made the switch to a 2500. It's nice but I miss the 1500 ride and economy most of the time. Since I only tow heavy 3 or 4 times a summer.
