Ham Radio enthusiasts

Are there any other Ham radio operators/ RV enthusiasts out there? I imagine there is. If so please reply with your call sign and location. If there is enough of us, maybe wecould get our own forum. Also share some things about your mobile setup. Thanks, Jim W, K3JRW

  • Bill, AE7UI and wife Jean is KF7JWY.
    Dual band, 2m and 70 cm in the fifth wheel, Icom 208H.
    Tri band in truck, Icom 7000, 2m, 70 cm and hf.

    Build my own antennas, don't leave home with out at least 2m.
    designing a nice rugged multiband HF mobile antenna for the eventual RV. Also have a 35' fiberglass collapsible mast that fits everything I build nicely.

    I monitor 146.52 on the road, and in the house.
  • Misc HF, VHF and UHF radios and all antennas are home-brew.

    I've been full-time for Since 1999.

    Currently camping at Chain o' Lakes SP (IL).
  • rich, N9DKO and Donna, N9DKN in west suburban chicago. we have an VHF/UHF/HF station in the MH (ICOM 706 MKIIg) as well as handhelds, CB, FRS, etc. about the only time i get to work HF is when we're in the RV...too many other things going on here at home.

  • I am N4HWL in Murfreesboro Tennesee. I have been a han (ham) radio operator for 30 years and almost always put up some type of antenna when I am camping.
