Tom Wxsby here, from Cypress Texas. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler, with a Kenwood TM-281A mounted above the rear view mirror with a handy little bracket from Strike Force Zebra. Using a Firestick antenna, seems to work pretty well.
I am working on adding a bracket and antenna for the Suburban, so I can simply move the radio back and forth.
