I visited with a trucker after another car and I finally got him to pull over when he had a large hose dangling off the rear of his tanker. I had tried for several miles to get him to stop by pointing, honking, flashers, before I had the second vehicle also try. His comment was that many times on the road he has someone try and get him to pull over and when he does, they stop, call him names and have a good laugh at his expense, then drive on so he doesn't pay much attention to people trying to get him to pull over anymore. As an RVer I will pull over if someone does that, just for peace of mind if nothing else.
