Folks we live in texas and are planning a western trip soon...does anyone know the laws for california, washington and oregon....all states prior to those are reciprocal with tx so you can carry...but...

Oregon and Washington do not recognize either of the concealed weapons permits. You can get a Utah permit that covers 37 states. You really need to go to the web site listed above to see who knows who and what not. I carry an Oregon, Washington, Utah and and a Arizona permit to cover all the states I want to go to. By the way, Calif, doesn't give out permits to any body other than the sheriff's brothers and sisters.
