handguns

Folks we live in texas and are planning a western trip soon...does anyone know the laws for california, washington and oregon....all states prior to those are reciprocal with tx so you can carry...but what about the states i mentioned ....can you still carry in your rv, but not outside it? thanks....dave and wendy

    Maybe it's not so much he has a need to carry it, as much as a need NOT to leave it at home unattended, subject to theft or something like that.
  • CA, NV, OR, WA do NOT have reciprocity with TX concerning CCW permits.

    As a traveler you can have the weapon inside your RV and travel thru the states.

    Do NOT going packing it on your hip, laying on dashboard, sitting in seat, under your seat, etc.

  • If you get a Utah or Florida permit it's recognized in Washington. Can't help you with Oregon or California.
