You think that is bad; On our brand new Forest River which we picked up in October, when we got it on site, the door between the kitchen and bathroom wouldn't close. I noticed that it was hitting the plastic side molding that was sticking out about an inch at the bottom. When I went to push it in, I noticed that it was loose all the way up to the striker plate. I removed the two screws holding the striker plate and not only that side molding fell off, but the overhead one and the opposite side as well.
I am quite sure the door to the bunk room is the same, since I can pull the side molding out at the bottom, but the door closes, so I left it to fix at a later time.
Every single pipe connection under the trailer had to be redone due to inferior clamps and one by one each of them coming apart. This caused all the insulation to get soaked causing it and the under fabric to be replaced.
The water pump had to be replaced (defective check valve)
Slides, stabilizers, tongue jack and awning were all checked at the PDI and worked. On site we couldn't find the remote to operate them, and when the dealer finally came up with it, we were amazed when we pushed the button for the awning and one of the slides worked.
Pushed the one for the tongue jack and the front stabilizers worked. - the exposed electronic board for all that nonsense is located directly under the bathroom lavatory (visualize some water dripping on it)
Shower stall leaked like sieve, (we recaulked )
No rear shelf supports under the bottom shelves through out (we fixed ourselves)
Many, many more, but I'll be typing all day
DON'T BUY A NEW FOREST RIVER OR YOU ARE ASKING FOR PROBLEMS!
