hard to sit

I hope this is the right forum for this. I had a bad accident 5 years
ago that left me with a fused right hip and knee. Sitting means my
right leg is sticking out straight. My toilet in the motor home faces
the wall and not enough room to sit on it. Is there any way to turn
the toilet maybe 45 degrees to give me room? With no hip, very hard
to even try to get to the bolts to take it off to even try this.
Thanks for any advice.

  • Go to a GOOD RV dealer service dept. that is willing to explain things to you.
There is a collar around the hole. This collar has slots for a bolt head to slide into. Some collars have
Holes straight across and some are diagonal , there are also universal collars.
Yes you should be able to turn the Throne a few inches to achieve your goal.
Hope this helps at least a little.
  • Peg Leg sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Best of luck to you.
  • It's only mounted over a round hole. Then a longer water supply line would be needed. Check your model and give a RV service dept a call.

Reminds me of when I had a body cast on after my leg was amputated. I never could use a thunder mug. I still need a bit of extra leg room. Good luck.
