Hard Water Spots-- What to do ?

Me too, really hard water in Phx.
I just ordered a portable water softener.

Why don't you put in a whole house water softener for like $400. We did that in Arkansas when we lived there and no more hard water

you may need two things to solve your problem

1) a water softener. that will remove calcium and magnesium and help a great deal, however, it does not remove all the elements that give water spots.
2) a dionizer. that will remove the rest of the stuff that gives spots.

A water softener can be recharged using salt. The deionizer isn't rechargeable, you replace the resin.

you can either do a whole house water softener, or get a portable one and see how it works. If needed get a deionizer.

If you don't have a lot of money to throw at a water softener, consider giving the TT a good wax job. Cleaner waxes like Mequires do a great job. I've also read on here about a product called REEJEX, which I plan on trying.

That is a possibility , but the house is hooked into the city water... Its just the 2 outside hose bibs that are still drawing off the well water.. I may try hooking up to the in house sink and see if that's better ??

Your city water may be hard, too, depending on where it comes from... but it's worth a try.
