- skipncharExplorerHad one on my sailboat about 20 years ago and it did an EXCELLENT job of producing warm water. Hot water.....not so much. They've probably improved them a lot in 20 years though :) The only down side I'd look at carefully would be that they're likely a fuel hog. A good portion of the hot water you use with the conventional heater you get from a heater that hasn't ran in quite some time (I turn mine off after morning showers and still have hot water for washing evening dishes and bed time hygene. With a demand system you would have to heat the water for each use. Just take fuel use into consideration if it matters to you.

I have a set of china that came from China. You know, it hasn't blown up or gone flat yet? Well ... maybe flat ... but some pieces came flat! - BumpyroadExplorer

sounds to me like that was the adapter, not the unit itself. ad says unit is presently in US, may have been made in china.

"please contact us ,we can ship from China" - valhalla360NavigatorWe have a similar unit on the boat.
The biggest issue is making sure it is properly vented.
The other issue is keeping a steady temperature.
We rarely use it (but the boat is typically used in warm weather so it's less of an issue. - darsbenExplorer IIWhere and how do you plan to install the unit. It seems to need a rather large vent.
