Has Anyone Added a Deadbolt to the Bottom of the Door?

A lock does keep out the casual punk. But do you want to mess with that extra lock?

What about a simple reinforcement along the length of door? Something like a strip of metal that will strengthen the door so it won't pull out as easily. That won't get in the way of your access but will make it more difficult to rip out from the bottom.
