This was my thought. Make a deadbolt only that has a keyhole on the outside with a lever on the inside and a grab handle to pull it shut like on the regular door handle.
Sure it wouldn’t prevent the determined thief from getting in but at least it may stop the thief looking for a quick easy access of the fool that wants to yank on the bottom of the door tolally bending it out of shape.
It would be nice to see the manufactures installing a three point lock system but that is just a pipe dream. That would cost way more than they would be willing to spend.
