- bgumExplorerWe did. We moved from a 35 ft 5th wheel to a 19ft Airstream Bambi. We then went to a 23ft Airstream which we still use. this is our third Airstream. the first was 25ft. the Airstreams are very stable even with a blowout. we drive at a max of 60mph. large trucks passing have no impact on control. O f course backing is different with a bumper pull and is easier . Towing the bumper pull tracks the TV unlike the 5th wheel where it wants to cut the corner. The only thing we miss is the larger bathroom of the 5th.
- Jim-LindaExplorer IIWhere in the world are you going to put all the stuff that comes out of the 5th wheel into an Airstream? Look at the storage before you jump into this.
