There are, of course, two sides to stories like this... now I too have a 50 amp rig.. Due to the 50 amp park breaker tripping I cut my use to less than 20 amps per leg, and still it tripped....
Electrician put in new breakers and all was well with the world.
Manager tried to convince me (Certified electronics technician me) that it was all the fault of these 50 amp Rigs overloading the breakers.......
My rig may have a 50 amp plug, and a 50 amp main breaker, but the max draw, per leg, is 30 amps or less (Generator breakers are 30 amps and I've never overloaded one without help) (Without help? you ask,, I have my rig set so I can daisy chain to another RV, or two (one per leg) so yes, I can get help)
And remember it was the 50 amp breakers I'm supposed to be "overloading with these dual A/C 50 amp RVs"... He may be an electrician,,, But my training is Electroincis and Electrical and electronics engineering.. I think I trump him.
