Have you ever heard of paying for pre-delivery inspection??

I am in the process of getting quotes for a travel trailer. One dealer wants to charge $1200 for transport of the trailer from the factory to the dealership (200 miles) and the pre-inspection deliver...

Call it whatever you want, if you are discussing and advertised price then the dealer will add on something to bring the deal into the profitable zone. Call it PDI, dealer prep, washing and drying, on lot storage, whatever. If you are negotiating a deal off the lot then all this my be forgone in exchange for a bottom line price.
