Have you ever heard of paying for pre-delivery inspection??

I am in the process of getting quotes for a travel trailer. One dealer wants to charge $1200 for transport of the trailer from the factory to the dealership (200 miles) and the pre-inspection deliver...

When I ask for a quote on any big ticket item, I ask "What is the amount I write the check for." No other figure matters. And, that's what I compare from dealer to dealer.
