When I go to almost any of the online reservation sites they ask a series of questions. I do pretty well with giving out that info. As I get further into the list they ask for my "equipment length".Well I have a problem with that very personal question. AND I don't think it has anything at all to do with making a reservation at a National Forest Campground.The system won't let me go on without answering that Question.What do you guys do???jesseannie

Answer the questions.They are there for a reason.

Equipment length has a lot to do with making a reservation. Sites come in lengths from short to very long. But not all parks or campgrounds have the long sites to accommodate some of the larger RVs. Don't understand the "very personal" comment.

Answer the question.I don't find giving the length of my unit a very personal question just like it doesn't bother me to tell if I'm camping in an RV or tent. Or how many people are coming.Or what my car license # is. The way I look at it they are asking these questions for a number of reasons: to help identify future needs (market research); to help to ID your setup in case of an emergency(emergency preparedness)and to ensure you'll fit in the space or down the road (do we need to widen the road so these type of units will fit? Is there a demand for it?). HTH alleviate your concerns.

Answer the question accurately. If you don't, we will find your next post complaining that the site you reserved was too short for your equipment.
