My propane refrigerator has never been an issue in our camping - a lot of which is in warm to hot desert settings. However, we do keep our RV very level at all times when parked for sleeping comfort ... maybe this is the key.
BTW, you made a great choice by having your RV batteries be AGM. We use a couple of paralled deep cycle AGMs in Group 29 size.
The 170W solar is mounted on the roof rack of the van to serve the two Optimas that run the fridges in the van.
I have a separate system of 130W solar on the roof of the trailer and a Deka 79AH for the other electrical equipment draws.
I often leave the 7-pin connected to create a system total of 300W solar and a 79+55+55=189AH bank.
