He wants/She wants

When picking out your RV was there things you wanted or didn't want but your spouse didn't want or wanted and who won?
Back in 2006 when we bought our new TT I was also looking at one that did not have an oven and their was no way the wife was going to let that happen. I asked when was the last time she baked a cake while camping. She said you never know what will happen. 7 years later and I'm still waiting for my cake. You wonder sometimes why you keep a woman lol.
  • Baking/cooking in a RV can be a challenge. It took DW easily a year to over come the challenge. We have some very tasty dinners and baked goods that come from there now. But we don't use it much during the summer months.
  • We have only made fresh blackberry pies in our oven. We look forward to the berry pickin' season each year. For us, the oven is worth having for just that.

PS An oven is a small price to pay............
  • Her reply will be a spoon, a bowl, and water, milk, set on top of the mix and a note----you bought it, you fix it. LOL
  • yep, wife wins any and all issues on anything that she has to clean (says the wife :B )DH chose the tow vehicle and the fiberglass exterior (easier to wash) along with the outdoor kitchen, where we switched out the existing fridge to a wine fridge - bonus :C
  • Wife wins, hands down. The only thing that I am really concerned with is the driving, She can have any floor plan she wants. WHen we had the TT, I picked the truck, when we were looking at the A's, I was concerned with the cockpit, towing and outside storage/access......

As for the cake, buy a cake mix and frosting and leave it on the counter, see what happens, like she said "you never know what will happen", however if you still have the same box of cake mix after, say, a year.......well, you just can't have your cake and eat it to! :p
