Heat Pump
Are heat pumps worth the added cost and are they dependable plus which brand should I stay away from?

Heat pumps are OK when in moderate temps.
However they worthless/ineffective in true cold temps.
Efficiency is there real advantage vs. resistive heat. In a stick home efficiency means a reduced utility bill in an RV there is no real monetary saving provided by the heat pump.
I prefer a oil filled simple space heater. The space heater will work in moderate temps or when it is truly cold. The heat pump is only effective at moderate temps
