Heated water hoses, fresh and waste. Whats your solution?

Never trickled water to keep it from freezing. Since streams freeze not sure it works. I wrap aluminum tape around my hose then tape heat tape to it. Walmart sells aluminum tape. The metallic tape distributes the heat more evenly. Used to use aluminum foil until I found the tape. Short stays I only took my sewer hose out during the day to dump. Long time I left sewer hose out but only dumped during the day when it was warmer.
