Moose, I'm with B.O. on this one, dial it back. There is no need to get way out there, it's a contact issue, and can be cancelled with the credit. If the company won't then you can legally go after them.
Reminds me of my Cube van in 1985.Ford had just started it's rust through guarantee. But the dealer still tried to sell me an undercoating package that the owners manual said would void the manufacturers warranty. Go figure.
