Firstly i'd never buy an extended warranty again, the one we got was based in quebek and english was definitely their second language when it came time to man up! We had a dexter nev-r-lube bearing fail on the way home last spring(don't believe that 100.000 miles/5 year life expectancy bunk,it didn't make it past 20.000 miles)and over $3000 sheckles worth of damage which was caused by a faulty bearing, the warranty offered to cover the cost of the dexter bearing but not the hub, rotor, brake ass. and brake lines, shock, custom alum. rim and tire so we ended up paying for it however when i got back i sent the a "well written e-mail in their native tounge" explaining how the other collateral damage should be covered and that any intelligent person would agree that it should be and luckily so did the agent's higher-ups wich sent me a cheque. Later we discovered that for a very fair price my auto insurace would cover road hazard.
Moral is,learn to fix your own stuff and when they say no place your foot on their noggin' and start climbing until you hear yes!
