The only time we had a problem with that was, well frankly, my fault. DH told our guide he relied on me to guide him in and I was not quite there. He missed the tree with the mirror, but not our awning...that took a mild scrape that some good tape fixed.
Yes, I got a good scolding, but we usually make a good team. He was NOT backing up FWIW.
