They changed the seat styles in MY07 Tahoes/Suburbans to a narrow style that I found uncomfortable. Like most have said here, seating comfort is relative. I have a RAM 3500 Longhorn which has the saddle grade leather seating (like Fords King Ranch, GM doesn't offer an equivalent), both my wife and I like it the best over the other two.
I spend a year researching what truck/trailer to buy, you won't be disappointed by any of the three brands. I chose RAM because of the Cummins engine and rear air leveling, my son chose a Chevy because of the Duramax/Allison combo.
Most of the stuff you read on the Internet is from guys who build up their trucks with oversized tires, deleted emissions, and reprogrammed engine controllers. Leave it stock, follow the scheduled maintaince and enjoy.
