Helped a fellow RVer..

I was on Loop 335 day before yesterday and I began to pass a class A PULLING A Jeep..As I came up the side it looked like the front tires on the Jeep were cocked a little to the left..I backed of and came up on the right side and could see the wheels were definitely cocked to the left..So I proceeded to flag them down and they pulled into a parking lot..He had failed to leave the steering wheel unlocked..Wouldn't have been long until he would have had a serious problem..he did thank me but it felt like he would have just as soon I would have left him alone!!!He may have just been having a bad day,but it was about to get a lot worse!!

    You may flag me down anytime you see a problem. Thank you in advance. You done good!. Prooves the RV family has some real good folks aboard.

    Good job.

    The wife and I have tried several times and failed to get RVers to even pull over. TV antenna up on several RVs. Bay doors flipping in the wind. Did get one guy with a 5th wheel pull over the cord from the trailer was dragging on the ground.

    I am surprised the RVer stopped. When strangers come up on a moving RV rig, they might be intending to Shanghai the RVer. You were looking out for your Brother Man, T-Bone! Glad to read this!

    I pull a Jeep as well. EVERY time I drive away, its after I've checked to be sure the steering is unlocked. I've been Rving for over 10 years, and I still use checklists.

    Done that myself a time or two.. And I will say THANKS to the people who flagged me once again. And to the O/P for being the kind of person who will do that.

    Now days I run a check list, and part of that includes making sure the car rolls freely when I hook up and making sure the wheels turn as I turn but.. Alas.. One can always forget a step.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. Help someone, and it always makes you feel like a better person. At least, that's been my experience.

    Good deed ,one time I drove back a snow covered road to pull out a guy,never even a thank you,scratched truck,he never would have got out.I know there are a lot of good people that have helped me also. Cant really figure why some don't show appreciatetion for your help,but guess it happens.
