41' Toy Hauler, triple axle, with slideout and 6" lift. Tongue weight was 3200 pounds when all the tanks were full (2400 was more typical). That was actually within the weights Hensley tested the hitch with, however they apparently stuck to highways on their tests. I took mine through dessert washes and even down Kane Creek canyon jeep trail in Moab. Combination of extreme tongue weight and rough terrain conditions did a good number on it.
So... my failures are not at all common, but I have seen occasional posts from others with more modest failures, such as cracked welds in the hitch head, bent mount for the bar-jacks, broken jacks. I've also seen 1 or 2 people complain about bent strut bars, (which held up fine on mine).
