Hensley Hitch Warranty?

I called today about getting some replacement parts for the Hensley hitch I bought and they offered me the lifetime warranty for $515. The parts were going to run about $100 and I need a new hitch bar that will cost $200. The guy told me that if i bought the warranty the parts would be free and I could swap the hitch bar for shipping costs. Does this seem like a reasonable cost? Has anyone had any warranty dealings with Hensley good or bad?

Thanks
John

Plenty can, including total structural failure of the hitch head.

The price doesn't seem bad to me considering they will allow the currently-needed parts to be ordered under the new warranty.
  • Seems a little steep. Not much can go wrong on a Hensley. Anything that does wear out can be bought in the refurb kit or the spare parts/emergency kit for much less.

$200 for the stinger seems expensive too. Where in Ontario are you? I exchange mine with Can-Am RV in London for $140.

Try posting an ad on kijiji as well. I've seen people looking to swap stingers.
