Yes. I did not replace the seals until yesterday. The whole premise of this admittedly unscientific experiment, is what would the result be of using ez lube as a greasing method exclusive of anything else. (for a period of 5 years) In my own case it did not work out.
I did not perform any adjustments to the bearings. Nor have the drums ever been removed until yesterday. (since the factory)
I make no claim one way or the other about the appropriateness of any specific approach. I am just sharing what I did and what the result was.
