Hey buddy slow down....

On my way home from a JSU game tonight, around 9:00, on I20 W just before the Eastaboga exit a tan Sierra 1500 pulling a 26' or so bumper pull passed me doing well over 70. Mind you it's raining so hard we are doing 60 with the windshield wipers full speed trying to see. Once he passed I noticed he had zero lights on his trailer working.

So, if this was you, please slow down its not worth killing yourself or someone else trying to get to your destination. And for the love of God fix your lights.

Sorry, rant over. Have a safe and fun Labor Day weekend.

  • Why not call the State Police or even 911? This guy was a menace to everyone and everything on the road. I have zero tolerance for blatant bad driving.
  • I hate the no lights thing. SO many out there drive unseen. During big rain or foggy situations so many don't even put on their headlights?

    yikes!
  • I am sure he was just keeping up with the flow of traffic so many post is safer than going the speed limit. ;)

No lights is a bad deal, but as far as speed goes, we don't know all the conditions. May have been totally reckless, or maybe you just drive slow.

70 or so, in a half ton, with a 26' travel trailer... well, at the very least, they're exceeding the capabilities of the tires (LRD or LRE ST tires are always rated for 65mph). Probably the vehicle and limits of luck, too.

  • At least it wasn't snowing. They'd probably gone even faster. Just stay out of their way. It's the norm these days.
  • Idiot probably has his whole family (Wife and Kids) in there with him too.
  • Zero lights also probably equals zero brakes... in the rain, nonetheless.
  • YIKES!!! That is a wreck just waiting to happen. Happens all too often.
