What temp are you monitoring for? Tires have heat ratings. The heat rating will tell you the max heat for the tire. If you are running over the max heat then you have a problem. Problems that can cause high heat are speed in excess of what the tire is rated for, low pressure, overweight, bad bearings. As long as you are under the max heat rating you shouldn't have a problem.
