Using a WD hitch you'll need a 5/8" pin. How is the hole on the stinger for the ball? If it gets to bad You'll either have to replace the receiver or weld up the holes and redrill them.
To reweld & drill them I'd pull the receiver off the truck to do the work. It will be easier to clamp it to a drill press than to try drilling them with a hand drill.
