Hitches-Equal-i-zer; Reese DC; Blue Ox-Diffs/Similarities?

Would the Blue Ox 1500# unit be sufficient?....since my TW is 1450#.....it is just under the 1500# limit.....no room for added TW.

Would the Blue Ox 2000# be too much/too stiff?
