Okay Dutchman, you and your DW win. I'll never chide my DW again.
I was a submarine sailor and we had to pack ten pound of stuff in a five pound bag just in case(it's a long way from there to port and you need a lot of just in case stuff), our personal stuff got left on the beach.
I am that way with the RV, a 24" tool box(way to big and heavy) and two tubs of oil and just in case parts. My clothes fit in a 27" shirt closet, that includes everything but my shoes and skivvies. I can wear a T Shirt for two days and Levi's for four, that keeps my closet neat and tidy. Someday I am going to take photos of my DW's closet for a five day trip. I will admit she has started paring down but not a winner yet.
Dwayneb, moving is easier than staying in your home while major renovation is going on. I've had a whole house full of stuff in "MY" garage for fifteen months. The remodeling was minor, scrape popcorn ceiling stuff off, new trim through out and new flooring and a total firebox rebuild for our fireplace. Fifteen months and there is still "stuff" left on either side of the path through the two car garage that use to be inside. Maybe once a month we go get something out of the garage or maybe two or three times we need something and of course it's in the garage, guess we don't really need it. Of course we have way too much stuff in the house again and we haven't finish furnishing.
I'd rather move than do this again.
