Holding tank heater question?
The camper we have now has holding tank heaters and I don't know if I should cut them on and off depending on the temperatures or just leave them on for the duration of the winter. Gets below freezing...

Most tank heater pads have thermostat controller....ON when temps drop below 45*F and OFF when temps reach 60*F
Do NOT leave on if tank is empty...needs liquids in tank to absorb the heat generated. Tank wall can be damaged if heater on and no liquids
The ones on your Rockwood are 12V DC so need to have rig plugged in OR battery on a charger
