Homestead, Fl Walmart overnight parking

Just spoke to the manager at the HOmestead, Fl Walmart to see if overnight RV parking was allowed. He said no, it was not. He then said the reason why. Apparently more than one RV owner decided to empty his/her black water tanks in their parking lot! Sad to say, but I believe his reason to be true. Come one people! Just a little dignity please! Would you want someone parked in your driveway to open his waste tanks on your asphalt/concrete? Pardon the pun, but a few "turds" ruined it for all the rest of us!

For those who might not know, the bottom map is the northern most part of the keys, while the top map is connected to the west/southwest part of the top map (did that make sense ?). That perpendicular road (U.S. Route 1) is part of the 20-21 mile road from Miami Dade county, and the county line is along that stretch.
Thanks Mitch. Though never assigned to that section or Troop, I did assist down there on occassion and for some reason, always thought Homestead was in Monroe county. I do know that Monroe does take in some of the glades to the west of Homestead. Did get temporary assignments in KW on numerous ocassions. :)

Yeah the maps I posted show the state highway roads in Monroe County. The maps of Monroe County which rhagfo posted show the whole county including the area on "the mainland". The problem I think with that map is that if you don't know what you're looking at, you really don't know what you're looking at. :B
