Honda Odessy Van

I have read of people towing Odysseys up to year 2012 successfully, but not the later Touring models as they and all 2013's have a new 6-speed tranmission that can't be towed. This is what I read online, so I can't personnally vouch for it. There is a Honda pre-towing procedure that must be followed which consists of starting the engine, running the transmission through all the gears, then from Drive (NOT Reverse) into Neutral, and let the engine idle for three minutes. Then you can shut the car off and tow it. You must repeat this procedure every so often. I think it may be every six hours.
