It makes me feel as though it's not worth clicking on to certain threads now! This used to be filled with helpful outstanding people when I first joined. In most cases the moderators don't say why. They do on other RV related forums. Not that they "owe" us an explanation, but it sure would clear things up.

Thankfully still lots of pleasant, helpful folks here. I just figure if a thread is closed there was some reason for it, and if that's the case, it contributes to the forum. I say this knowing that some times threads get closed without obvious reasons, but mods are human too. No complaints here. I get a lot of benefit for the cost! :)

Looking at page one of the Workamping Forums section, I see that three of the five "closed" threads were on the same subject (two of those were of the "demanding an explanation for closure" type). The explanation was given by the (very patient and polite) Moderator, by the way...Two others were postings for positions- one was closed because it had been filled, and the other because folks took issue with the terms offered.All those closures seem reasonable to me....I'd add that if anyone thinks they can do a better job of managing this disorderly passel of roughnecks, let them volunteer to do so!
