I knew the tongue weight had to be 10-15%, but wasn't sure if the improper set up of the hitch would effect that. I'm guessing as one reply said that it would as it would tilt the camper to the rear and put more weight back there. I'll lower the hitch to proper setup and scale it if it starts swaying again when I leave next time. And yes, I have dual sway bars as well as the weight distribution bars. I am aware there is a difference, but thank you for looking out as I'm sure there are several who dont.
I also want to add that this isn't my first camper. We traded one off that was only 5500# and towed like a piece of paper. Could run 80mph and not know she was behind me, so that's why I'm getting frustrated at this one. Just wanted to know if maybe it was a Hideout issue or if it was an improper set up issue with the hitch (assuming my tongue weight is already correct).
