Here's what I saw (and assume), as a former horse owner who frequently trailered horses: Tow vehicle gets cut off, swerves to avoid car, trailer veers off road and hits the guard rail end, where it's torn from the tow vehicle and horses are ejected through the front of the trailer. The horse with the clearly broken neck is still tied to the chest bar of the trailer.
Unbelievably heartbreaking - the only thing worse would have been if the horses hadn't died immediately....
