Hot! Hot! Hot! Did I miss spring?

I don't know about the rest of North America but here in Southern Ontario it is hot!
We seem to have missed spring altogether. It was 29C or 84F. With the humidity added in it felt like it should in August.
Is this what is to be expected this year?
I certainly recommend that anyone who has air conditioning in their RV make sure it is working and for those who do not have it, all I can say is head for the hills, LOL!
I am very sensitive to the sun and the heat. I already have suffered from sun/heat stroke twice this year. Yes, I take all the precautions other than staying indoors.

    It must be all relative.

84 degrees for most of us in the deep south is "just right."

    94 or 104 is hot.

Thats what happens when you fall asleep under the big ole Oak Tree - Wake up three months later...

The Earth JET STREAMS are certainly all messed up now creating WEATHER EXTREMEs in places that were normally peaceful changes.

Seems like these changes started about five years ago and slowly got worse maybe peaking out in late December 2013. Perhaps it will take another five years for the Earth to get back to normal walking away from whatever happened to us in 2013.

    ???

    Ditto for Phoenix
  • In the 40's here in Mass. We have not had warm weather yet.
  • trees, trees, big trees, and water. Not much of that left in farming areas, of Ontario, or anywhere else. A big tree can pump five thousand gallons, of water, into the air, if available, per day or more.
On the hill side here it gets warm in the sun but 10 yards, into the shade, it is always cool. next to the spring it is cooler even.
In the Amazon, or what remains, the avg temp, stays in the eighties,I seem to remember.
I remember around Wawa,Ontario, one year, it got to seventy two. The Folks were in a tizzy. It hadn't been that hot in ages. At thee A&W they had the doors open and people were fanning with newspapers.
way to the west in the flat farming country it was hot during summer and dry.
  • No but we skipped the month of May up here in NY. April was cold as March and May was as wet as April usually are, Now we're up to normal Jun temps. The month of May was totally skipped this year.
  • I think your spring is in Tulsa. 69 degF here this afternoon.
