How About A Yuma Summer?
This may seem crazy to some, but we have actually found folks who enjoy the summer heat in Yuma before, so thought we'd try it again!
We are looking for summer caretakers for our 1/2 acre property in the Yuma, Foothills, starting July 8th, continuing on to approximately mid-October.
We have a unique and beautiful property, that is landscaped into a true desert oasis with an abundance of trees and plantings that attract hummingbirds and butterflies year round.
You will have the privacy of walled courtyards, patios, and the use of our 37' in ground swimming pool, as well as 50 amp full hookups. The driveways are gated, the courtyards are private, there is outdoor lighting, hand crafted outdoor mosaic murals, and in general, the feeling that you are on the property of a unique Mexican hacienda.
The property is very convenient to the new, beautiful Fry's grocery store, CVS and Walgreens, Red Box video rentals, gas stations, restaurants, and a hop, skip, and a jump onto I-8. The streets are wide and paved, perfect for EARLY morning walks or bike rides, and during the summer you can actually see the Milky Way in the clear, dark skies of the Foothills.
It is very quiet and peaceful, with a friendly but unobtrusive neighbor should you need any help with anything.
All we ask is that you keep the grounds tidy, and check the automated watering system on a regular basis, which can be accomplished in 10 hours a week or less on whatever schedule works well for you.
We've been here ourselves the past few summers, but now we are ready to travel again, and hoping to find someone who thinks toasty summers are AWESOME! :-)
Please no dogs or smoking (we love dogs and have several including a guide dog, so would prefer not to have the distraction of additional dog scents on the property). Our dogs will be with us and there is no pet care involved.
You will not be responsible for pool maintenance--we have a trusted pool guy 2 days a week.
