How do I open this Bargman 62 license plate light?

I have this Bargman 62 license plate light and need to replace a burned out bulb. I have not been able to figure out how to open it without breaking it. Pushing on what looks like a tab didn't ...

A couple trailers ago I had one similar, lens slid into covered part. Push on bottom edge gently and it should slide open.
