How do I open this Bargman 62 license plate light?

I have this Bargman 62 license plate light and need to replace a burned out bulb. I have not been able to figure out how to open it without breaking it. Pushing on what looks like a tab didn't ...

westend, I've been looking for some of that, would you be more specific as to product & sources? Big Boxes here don't seem to have anything by 3M.
