I know I am going to be the odd one out here, but we still have a good data point for the supply/demand chart.
We are not "Campers" and as such, a "Camp Ground" is of little interest. We are "RV Travelers" and where we spend any night is just a matter of convenience at that time.
On a very few occasions we have paid ~20$us for an FHU over night. That was all there was, but that was all I wanted was to dump and fill and keep the reefer going without running the house bank down. (The inverter for the reefer is noisy.)
We did get stuck for 30$us for a flat place in Albuquerque during the Balloon Time, I didn't regret that for a moment. I have also had a situation when they intended to hit me for 15$us/ONP for just a flat spot with no major event nearby. In that case, we voted with the wheels.
If we have time to kill and a pool would be nice, I might go for a KOA price. But if I have to pay for that just to have a nice place to sleep, I will use my resources to go find a nice 0$ ONP.
If I maintain a self-contained RV that needs services only every third or forth day, why do some people think I should pay for it every day. We are not part of the 2-2-2 crowd.
